Services & Fees

Services

I provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients over the age of 18. I also offer couples therapy.  I am also available for clinical supervision and consultation. SEE GROUP INFO BELOW

Telehealth

In the aftermath of the COVID pandemic, I like many of you transitioned to relearning how to do everything over a screen. I feel incredibly privileged that I was able to continue working as a therapist in 2020 and have now developed skills as a telehealth therapist that I never thought would be needed. I now believe that offering telehealth as a therapy option reduces barriers and creates new opportunities for those who may not otherwise have access. I am currently offering telehealth services across 40 states and in-person services to the Flagstaff area.  Click here to see which states are eligible.

Fees

I charge $165 for each 50 minute therapy appointment. I have a limited number of sliding scale spots each week reserved for people who could not otherwise access therapy due to financial and or other barriers. Please do not hesitate to contact me about the possibility (and availability) of a sliding scale rate before our first consultation.  I charge $200 for each 50 minute couples therapy appointment.

I am not currently in-network  with any insurance companies. I am able to charge Health Saving Accounts (HSA) cards and can also provide an invoice ("superbill") that you can share with your insurance company if you would like to pursue reimbursement. Many insurance companies will reimburse a percentage of the cost for out-of-network services.

Process Groups

I have been facilitating interpersonal process groups for over 10 years and they continue to be one of the most transformative and meaningful forms of therapy that I have witnessed.

What is an Interpersonal Process Group (Yalom Group)

An Interpersonal Process Group (IP group) brings together 6-10 members and 1-2 facilitators to co-create a space focused on authentic connection, support, feedback, and collective growth and healing.

These groups are unstructured on purpose and we focus on allowing genuine interpersonal interactions to happen in the here-and-now. Rather than having a specific topic for each session, the members are encouraged to bring any issue to the group that they believe is important or any problem they are struggling with. Other members are encouraged to share their responses, reactions, support, and feedback in a radically honest manner that can feel refreshing, surprising, and unlike many other social settings. Again, and again I have seen the realness and vulnerability of these groups lead to a sense of true connection with the other members and significant increases in self-awareness and communication skills.

Over time, many of the interpersonal challenges that may have originally brought members to the group are directly addressed as they play out between people within the shared space. The group serves to illuminate relational patterns that are often getting in the way of the members being able to have healthy, loving, and fulfilling relationships in their lives.

Who is this group for

  • Adults from all age groups, genders, and backgrounds
  • Anyone wanting to understand how to build, manage, and repair relationships
  • Anyone who feels at a loss for why their relationships don’t feel satisfying or keep failing
  • Anyone who is interested in receiving honest feedback on how they are perceived and impact others
  • Anyone who is longing for deeper emotional connection and needs support in practicing vulnerability
  • Anyone who is struggling with relational challenges, anxiety, depression, isolation, grief, family struggles, and many more of the same themes that often bring people to individual therapy. Group therapy has been shown to be equivalent to many individual therapeutic modalities for treating a wide range of presenting problems (Yalom & Leszcz, 2020), while often being more affordable per session than individual therapy.
